Throughout my career I have been responsible for the management and improvement of the digital departments, staff and service offering at several agencies. These include Mindshare, Object1 (LBi), DNA and LIDA (M&C Saatchi).
This senior management role is very important to me and something I enjoy very much, helping to bring digital to the fore and make sure that we as an agency are fully clued up and able to give our clients the best advice, strategy and service that we can.
I am especially proud of being brought over to Australia by the global media agency Mindshare in order to create and manage a brand new Creative Services offering, also acting as a Partner in Invention and a member of the senior management teams for both of the Sydney and Melbourne offices.
The role not only meant creating the new department and winning new business outside of the traditional media services but also acting as the digital expert for our strategy and planning teams. Our clients for design and production work as well as planning and strategy included Ford, Sega, Disney, Kellogg’s, General Mills, Betty Crocker, Kimberley Clark, Land Rover, Jaguar, Motorola, iiNet, Tourism New Zealand and South Africa Tourism.
I have also been responsible throughout my career for direct client communication, growing accounts and forming close relationships both on agency and client side.
My other consultancy roles include acting as the Operations Director for Nixon McInnes, helping Cubeworks to implement a new agile way of working and assisting in the agency and project process improvement at exposure and Designate. I have also created and run my own independent consultancy as co-owner and Director of Feels like mine.
