The Gift Crackers Christmas Cracker was a Facebook, Twitter & mobile app, as well as a standalone website, created for O2’s 2013 Christmas campaign. The visitor could have a free pull of the Gift Crackers cracker once logged in via Facebook or Twitter and see if they had won one of over 2130 prizes.
They could then invite friends to pull a cracker on the app or website via Facebook or Twitter, thus enabling the participant then to have another four goes that day to try and win a prize. Prizes ranged from the simple but nice chocolates and sweets, to phone accessories, x-box consoles, the latest mobiles and a TV or two.
I managed the ideas generation, scoping and the full design and build of this Christmas Cracker game, undertaking the User Experience work prior to design. I created a fully interactive Axure prototype to show in full how the game will work. I also produced a fully interactive mobile version of the wireframe based prototype (Images from these below along with the final designs.)
