I worked with the wonderful folk at PSONA on Nationwide AGM Voting Hub; The Nationwide client being a great team to work with too.
Firstly I created a campaign user journey as per the images further down this page. It captures what happens to the various pages in ‘mini-wireframe’ form and then shows how our users will be brought to and navigate through these pages.
Such a campaign journey not only helps the website and mobile design thinking, it also uncovers areas that the client may not have realised that will require their own attention and further thinking.
After the campaign user journey I created a fully interactive prototype for the hub. This was built in Axure and includes responsive wireframes for desktop, tablet and mobile, as well as showing various other interactive elements.
It is actually quite a complex thing creating a voting hub, and so creating such a prototype helped inform everyone’s thinking at an early stage of the overall project process.
The voting hub has been a great success with 110,00 votes completed online, compared to 70,000 last year.
The survey all about the hub has reported back that 95% of users would use it again next year.
