The Kellogg’s Shape Mate website was redesigned and had its functionality enhanced by my Mindshare Digital Creative Services in conjunction with the hosts and development team at ninemsn and of course our planning and accounts team at Mindshare Sydney. The key was to bring to life Special K’s role as a Shape management partner for our health conscious users.
Shape Mate was an interactive hub containing many online video tutorials and guides from respected Australian health and fitness professionals, a mapping tool to track the users running and other fitness related routes and activities, a user friendly training calendar and many other useful tools, all housed within the ninemsn Health portal.
I provided initial costing, planning and strategic advice, saving Kellogg’s a substantial amount of money on the initial costing. I then worked with the Mindshare planning team and the ninemsn doigital team coming up with new ideas for the offering, requirements gathering and the scoping of the project. I was the Kellogg’s and Mindshare expert advisor to ninemsn on all aspects of the user experience, design, build and testing process, helping to ensure the quality of the offering and value for money for Kellogg’s, as well as making life easier for the ninemsn team as the central point for all parties for the project.
The new website was delivered on time and within budget to a very high level of quality. It provided our users with a great tool and experience during it’s lifecycle and was eventually incorporated back into Special K’s new health and fitness offering.
